Protégé Casual is a Toronto-based outdoor furniture company selling high-end outdoor furniture and accessories directly to consumers and other businesses.
In March 2020, it was announced that all large in-person events such as tradeshows and conventions were canceled indefinitely due to COVID-19. Unfortunately, Protégé Casual connects with most of their customers and buyers in these events, so their business was directly affected by the shut down. Protégé Casual hired Your Digital Presence to redevelop their website, add ecommerce capabilities, and open up shop as quickly as possible. The website was developed to be responsive and to appeal to an older demographic with easy-to-use navigation and shopping process. Protégé Casual was able to recoup most revenue lost from the shutdown.
Fast-forward to 2022, and it was time for Protégé Casual to invest in a full redesign and customize the website further. The typography, color scheme, and pages were redesigned to fit the high quality product and clientele that they are known for dealing with. The new design is completely responsive, faster than before, and offers better back end solutions for their staff and admin.
Laura took on our project with full steam ahead from day one. We expected to see success with our e-commerce platform but we had no idea just how talented she was.
